Sunday night Boukie's delivery B
Got a gyro and fries with a baklava for dessert. Everything was generously portioned, but the gyro sandwich's lamb and tomato was light on flavor. Unfortunately, they add cheese to their gyro: feta. Normally this adds texture and flavor to salads and other dishes and works very well. It took away from the sandwich and I'd say hold the feta next time. We also got a sampler plate of some kind and shawarma. Shawarma was said to be a little less awesome than the average, but it was probably healthfully prepared. The sampler plate had delicious hummos and falafel, pita; also it had bland baba ghanouj and tabbouleh salad. The order came with delicious fresh baked (white? pita?) bread in a bag. Very hit or miss, but there's no guilt eating middle eastern food unless you're cutting back on carbs.
